Sara Bareilles and Carole King Perform Together at 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards®
The Recording Academy has just announced the latest performers for Music's Biggest Night®, the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards® telecast which will include a special performance by nominee Sara Bareilles together with four-time GRAMMY winner and MusiCares® Person of the Year Carole King.
Sara Bareilles is nominated for Album of the Year for The Blessed Unrest and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Brave". This will be the first performance on the GRAMMY Awards telecast for Bareilles. Carole will be honored at The MusiCares® Person of the Year tribute ceremony, one of the most prestigious events held during GRAMMY Week.
The celebration culminates with the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards® at Staples Center hosted by LL Cool J on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014. The telecast will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Performers added to the lineup include John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban, as well as nominee Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr — who as members of the Beatles will receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
