LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Love Makes The World is the title of Carole King's 24th solo album released on her own Rockingale Records September 25, 2001.

The first King studio offering in nearly a decade, the CD features performances by guest artists Celine Dion, k.d. lang, Wynton Marsalis and Babyface. The twelve-song set demonstrates King's mastery of keeping popular music fresh and relevant.

PARIS, FRANCE - Carole King made her fourth visit to the annual "songwriting bootcamp" hosted by Miles Copeland at his Chateau de Marouatte outside Paris, France.

King's collaborators this year included the talented brothers, Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson, with whom she penned two songs: "Let You Go" and "One More Time."

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA - Carole King and her daughter, Louise Goffin, appeared together in Gap's "My First Love" fall ad campaign. Louise opened the spot singing her mother's classic, "So Far Away," then Carole sang "Love Makes The World" from her new album of the same title.
