Carole King Makes a Surprise Appearance at James Taylor Show

LENOX, MA - Carole King surprised and delighted the sold-out crowd at Tanglewood tonight by appearing on stage with James Taylor to honor him for his 60th birthday. She remarked to James, "Welcome to the 60s," which elicited a big laugh from the audience.

She performed "(You Make Me Feel Like a) Natural Woman," "Up on the Roof," and "You've Got a Friend" with James and his band.

"I always think that playing with James can't possibly get any better," Carole said, "and then each time it does."
