Carole King Performs on 'The Today Show' Friday, October 26, 2007

NEW YORK, NY – Carole King appeared on NBC's The Today Show on Friday, October 26th to promote the release of her new DVD "Welcome to My Living Room." Carole performed three times (once each hour) during the show, which aired live from their studio at Rockfeller Plaza.

"Welcome to My Living Room" features twenty-nine songs - nearly two hours of music in all - from King's sold-out 2005/06 Living Room World Tour and includes extensive bonus features such as pre-tour rehearsals and interviews with Carole on how the tour was conceived.

NEW YORK, NY – Carole King appeared on "The Martha Stewart Show" on Tuesday, October 23rd in support of her new DVD, "Welcome to My Living Room," which was released in stores the same day. In addition to performing a song, Carole joined Martha for one of her hands-on segments.

WASHINGTON, DC - Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Carole King testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands at a hearing on the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA) H.R.1975 in Washington, DC. The hearing was held on October 18, 2007 at 2pm Eastern Time.

BALTIMORE, MD – Legendary songwriter-singer Carole King joined Garrison Keillor Saturday, October 13, 2007 in Baltimore as he took A Prairie Home Companion on the road. The weekly live radio variety show, which was broadcast live from 5 to 7pm Central Time from the Hippodrome Theater, features a host of singers, musicians and radio talent. Carole performed several songs and was interviewed by Garrison Keillor.
