Carole King Comes 'Home For The Holidays' on CBS Television

LOS ANGELES, CA - Carole King appeared on the Ninth Annual "A Home for the Holidays" television special, which aired on CBS Television on December 21, 2007 at 8PM (Eastern). Carole performed "Everyday People" with Reba McEntire (from Reba's "Duets" album) and also performed one of her own classic songs.

The star-studded program also included performances from Reba, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, James Blunt and more. Following the success of the past eight annual shows, this year's special continues to tell touching stories about foster care and adoption to raise awareness of this important social issue.

As a proud supporter of the Writers Guild of America, Carole agreed to perform on the show only after receiving confirmation that the show would not use any scripted material written after the onset of the WGA strike and that the program was in full compliance with WGA strike rules.
