Carole King Appears on "The Martha Stewart Show"on October 23, 2007

ALSO WILL BE HONORED AS A 'LIVING LEGEND' AT ‘DREAMERS INTO DOERS’ GALA 

NEW YORK, NY – Carole King appeared on "The Martha Stewart Show" on Tuesday, October 23rd in support of her new DVD, "Welcome to My Living Room," which was released in stores the same day. In addition to performing a song, Carole joined Martha for one of her hands-on segments.

Later that evening, Carole King was presented with the 'Living Legend' award at the 'Dreamers into Doers Awards Gala', which was held at Lincoln Center in New York. 'Dreamers into Doers', presented by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, is a program that rewarded eleven readers who have turned their pursuits into businesses, their passions into philanthropic efforts to benefit their local communities, and their aspirations into realities. Carole received the first ever 'Living Legend' award for inspiring creativity and hope for many decades.

She also performed at the event. "The Martha Stewart Show" is a nationally syndicated lifestyle series taped in front of a live studio audience. Each hour-long episode presents inspiring ideas from cooking and entertaining to decorating and home renovating.
